As "Hold & Stein" (Association for Art and Culture), Kurt Neuhold and I, as one of 14 teams, won the submission for Kulturkatapult with our project "Suchlinge & Findlinge", which could be translated as "searchers & finders". “Suchlinge & Findlinge” is a participatory art project under professional guidance and supervision where we give young people the opportunity to search for their own traces and leave those artistically handcrafted in big rocks.

We had planned to carry out the project with the vocational school for construction work and the youth center "Leberberg" from September 2020 until June 2021. But because of the ongoing Covid19- lockdowns and restrictions, the project had to be delayed several times. In June 2021 we finally started working on the big rocks at the school for construction work in Vienna with 9 bricklayer apprentices (8 men, 1 woman) and their teacher Manfred Danzl until the beginning of July. The work was both challenging and outstanding, the joy of the collaborative work process and the successful result was great.

In August 2021, another boulder from St. Margarethen travelled to Vienna, this time to the garden of the "Siedlungstreff Leberberg", which belongs to the Viennese youth centers. The manager Petra Lux, her committed team and the best summer weather ensured a pleasant working atmosphere. The young artists worked with us on the big sculpture and on 5 smaller pieces.

The other 3 sculptures- the Gauat-stone, the Libolo-stone and the Orsogu-Corna-stone- were successfully erected on the BS Bau premises and in front of the WMS Leipziger Platz in Vienna in November. However, the opening ceremonies had to be postponed to March 2022 due to renewed lockdowns. We were therefore very happy when these events finally took place and the project came to an end with the printing of folders, photo books, the successful invoice verification and a happy "Hold & Stein"-team.

Als "Hold & Stein" (Verein für Kunst und Kultur) gewannen Kurt Neuhold und ich als eines von 14 Teams die Einreichung für Kulturkatapult mit unserem Projekt "Suchlinge & Findlinge", welches ein partizipatives Kunstprojekt ist, bei dem Jugendliche unter unserer professionellen Leitung und Anleitung ihre Spurensuche auf kunstvolle Weise in großen Steinblöcken aus St. Margarethener Kalksandstein hinterlassen.

Aufgrund der Lockdowns mussten wir das Projekt mehrmals unterbrechen und konnten erst im Juni 2021 an unserem ersten Projektstandort, der Berufsschule für Baugewerbe, mit der Arbeit beginnen. Dort haben wir bis Anfang Juli mit 9 Maurerlehrlingen (8 Männer, 1 Frau) und ihrem Lehrer Manfred Danzl intensiv an der Gestaltung von 3 Steinskulpturen gearbeitet. Die Arbeit war herausfordernd und herausragend, die Freude am kollaborativen Arbeitsprozess und das gelungene Ergebnis groß. Im August 2021 ging ein weiterer Felsbrocken von St. Margarethen auf die Reise nach Wien, diesmal in den Garten des Siedlungstreffs Leberberg, der zu den Wiener Jugendzentren gehört. Die Leiterin Petra Lux, ihr engagiertes Team und bestes Sommerwetter sorgten für ein angenehmes Arbeitsklima. Die jungen Künstler*innen wirkten und werkten unter unserer Anleitung an der Gestaltung der großen Skultpur als auch an 5 kleineren Steinen mit. Der große Stein, der immerhin fast 1 Tonne wiegt und 1,80 m hoch ist, bleibt als "Jugi-Stein" im Garten des Jugendzentrums.

Die anderen 3 Skulpturen- der Gauat-Stein, der Libolo-Stein und der Orsogu-Corna-Stein- konnten noch erfolgreich im November auf dem Gelände der BS Bau und vor der WMS Leipziger Platz in Wien aufgestellt werden. Allerdings mussten die Eröffnungsfeiern aufgrund erneuter Lockdowns auf März 2022 verschoben werden. Wir waren daher sehr glücklich, als diese Events endlich stattfanden und das Projekt mit Folderdruck, Fotobuch, erfolgreicher Rechnungsprüfung und einem glücklichen "Hold & Stein"-Team seinen Abschluss fand.

From August 2018 to September 2019, I accompanied a small group of artists from the PSD Gänserndorf in the design and implementation of the sculpture project "5 Senses".

The PSD belongs to the PSZ gGmbH, which offers a professional offer in the social psychiatric field in Lower Austria and Vienna for almost 40 years. With 400 employees and freelancers and around 7000 customers, it is one of the largest non-profit organizations in Lower Austria.

On her own initiative, the group started working with her occupational therapists Lisa Höing and René Madle in October 2017 to produce individual paper maché and concrete sculptures: a mouth, an eye, an ear and a nose.

In the first workshop led by me in August 2018, five models were developed for five different pillars in tone. Each pillar was associated to one sense. Every artist had dedicated himself to one of them.

The 5 columns were modeled on a larger scale, fired by the professional ceramics champion Christopf Graf (Keramograf) in Stoob and set up in August 2019 in the exterior of the new PSD building in Gänsderndorf.

On October 2nd, the grand opening of the new PSD building and the presentation of the "5 Senses" columns with many invited guests and the entire artist group took place.

Von August 2018 bis September 2019 begleitete ich eine kleine Gruppe von Künstler*innen des PSD Gänserndorf bei der Gestaltung und Umsetzung des Skulpturenprojekts "5 Sinne".

Der PSD gehört zur PSZ gGmbH, die seit fast 40 Jahren ein professionelles Angebot im sozialpsychiatrischen Bereich in Niederösterreich und Wien anbietet. Mit 400 Mitarbeitern und freien Mitarbeitern und rund 7000 Kunden ist es eine der größten gemeinnützigen Organisationen in Niederösterreich.

Aus eigener Initiative begann die Gruppe im Oktober 2017 mit ihren Ergotherapeuten Lisa Höing und René Madle, individuelle Pappmaché- und Betonskulpturen herzustellen: Mund, Auge, Ohr und Nase.

Im ersten von mir geleiteten Workshop im August 2018 wurden 5 Modelle für 5 verschiedene Säulen in Ton entwickelt. Jede Säule ist einem Sinn zugeordnet. Jede/r Künstler*in setzte einen davon künstlerisch um.

Die 5 Säulen wurden in größerem Maßstab modelliert, vom Keramikmeister Christopf Graf (Keramograf) in Stoob gebrannt und im August 2019 im Außenbereich des neuen PSD-Gebäudes in Gänsderndorf aufgestellt.

Am 2. Oktober fand die feierliche Eröffnung des neuen PSD-Gebäudes und die Präsentation der "5 Sinne" -Säulen mit vielen geladenen Gästen und der gesamten Künstlergruppe statt.

From 2012 until 2018 I led art projects with clients of the Grüner Kreis (Green Circle - Association for the Integration of addicts). Some of the artworks were exhibited in the POOL 7 Gallery and elsewhere. Head of the project "Art in the Green Circle" was Kurt Neuhold. Unfortunately, the gallery was canceled and dissolved in the first lockdown in 2020, but Kurt Neuhold and I founded an art association called "Hold & Stein" to continue the good work.

Von 2012 bis 2018 leitete ich Kunstprojekte mit KlientInnen des Grünen Kreises (Verein zur Integration von Suchtkranken). Die Kunstwerke dieser Workshops wurden teilweise auch in der POOL 7-Galerie und an anderen Orten ausgestellt. Leiter des Projekts "Kunst im Grünen Kreis" war Kurt Neuhold. Leider wurde die Galerie zu Beginn des ersten Lockdowns im Frühjahr 2020 aufgelöst.

Aufgrund einer großen Ausschreibung der Stadt Wien gründeten Kurt Neuhold und ich jedeoch den Kunst-und Kulturverein "Hold & Stein", so dass wir die gute kreative Arbeit weiterführen werden.
